Richardo Keens Douglas es actor, escritor y narrador, nacido en Grenada y que ahora vive y trabaja en Canadá. Fue nominado al premio Dora Mayor Moore como mejor actor en 1985 por su actuación en The Obeah Man y por el premio  Storytelling World Honor Award for Tellable Stories for Ages Four through Nine en 1995 por Diablesse and the Baby.  Fue finalista para el premio Silver Birch en 1996 por Freedom Child of the Sea y obtuvo una nominación al premio Gemini como mejor conductor de programa de artes para el Sunday Arts Entertaiment. Es, además, autor de guiones y libros para niños  como The Obeah Man (el musical) producido en Canadá en 1985; Caribbean Cindy (obra radiofónica), de Morningside CBC-radio, en 1992; The Nutmeg Princess ilustrada por Annouchka Gravel Glouchko, Annick Press (Toronto, Ontario, Canadá) en 1992; y La Diablesse and the Baby, ilustrada por Marie Lafrance, Annick Press (Toronto, Ontario, Canadá) en 1994.

Richardo Keens Douglas is an actor, writer, and storyteller who was born in Grenada and now lives and works in Canada.  He was nominated for the Dora Mavor Moore Award for Best Actor in 1985 for The Obeah Man and for the Storytelling World Honor Award for Tellable Stories for Ages Four through Nine in 1995 for La Diablesse and the Baby.  He was the Silver Birch Award finalist in 1996 for Freedom Child of the Sea and earned a Gemini Award nomination for Best Host in an arts program for Sunday Arts Entertainment.  He is the author of scripts and books for children, such as The Obeah Man (musical), produced in Canada, 1985; Caribbean Cindy (radio play), broadcast on Morningside, CBC-Radio, 1992; The Nutmeg Princess, illustrated by Annouchka Gravel Glouchko, Annick Press (Toronto, Ontario, Canada), 1992; and La Diablesse and the Baby, illustrated by Marie Lafrance, Annick Press (Toronto, Ontario, Canada), 1994.
